Welcome letter
On behalf of Latvian Society of Neurosonology and European Society of Neurosonology and Cerebral Hemodynamics it is a pleasure to welcome you to Riga for the 14th Meeting of ESNCH.
Founded in 1998 Latvian Society of Neurosonology now boasts more then 50 members active in a field of cerebrovascular diseases. We are looking forward for a fruitful exchange of experience and the opportunity to enjoy a 3 day programme covering new developments, research and on-going education.
We hope you will find Riga congenial venue for this meeting. The largest multi-cultural city in the Baltics with its 800-year history is renowned for its magnificent Jugendstyle architecture, rather intact medieval buildings, beautiful spacious parks and lovely cafés and restaurants.
Dynamic and diverse arts activities - art galleries, world-class opera... and a music in a clubs, art performances in a parks, national songs festivals makes life in Riga vibrant and colorful.
We anticipate that the mix of formal and informal scientific discussions, workshops, practical sessions and technical exhibition will create a rewarding visit to Riga.
